High Flying...

Excited to be starting a new personal project soon. I will be shooting both stills & motion on the Karen community here in the Twin Cities playing the amazing game of cane ball. Flips, kicks and amazing agility fill gyms when teams gather. It's truly unlike any game/event I have ever seen or covered. Stills will be the perfect addition to some high flying video, which you really have to see to believe. These are just a few stills from a scout that really do not do it justice...

Purina/Colle + McVoy...

After getting back from a great shoot with Purina the other days, I've been getting files ready to go from what ended up being an awesome shoot. Horse, swine, beef & dairy cattle provided the backdrop for a week of shooting in and around Missouri. Emphasizing the "pride" of the Purina brand, one that has been providing animal feed since 1894, we were photographing the people that make Purina a great brand. Had a chance to use some new gear, try some new angles and get some new smells on me from being in a swine barn all morning...

Back in Minneapolis after a great week out in DC. Had a great shoot and a great time enjoying the hustle and bustle of the city.

Just wrapped a shoot with Target here in Minneapolis and will be off shooting in St. Louis, MO all of next week.
An exciting project awaits us down south, and we'll be home just in time for the holidays!...

In My Lifetime...

Budwesier/Momentum Worldwide...

Had the chance to do a shoot for Budwesier recently via Momentum Worldwide in St. Louis.

This is all I can share for the time being, but it gives you a taste of the product we were profiling. Lots of beautiful reds and iconic branding throughout the whole shoot.

Portland, Oregon...

Just got back from the west coast. Showed some portfolios around town and had a shoot that will be shared soon. Not going to say too much, except to expect some cool new content from "The Fruit Loop" just west of Portland, OR.

A great city, lots of cool creative places and talent to offer and unreal grilled cheese of all things...

So, that said, and this photo shared... what did I think of Portland?

A) Impartial

B) Loved it

C) Never will return

Ocean Spray Cranberries/Wisconsin...

A couple stills from our recent shoot capturing content on cranberry bogs in Wisconsin. This project was a video shoot and as soon as I can share some of the project, I will do so! Got some great angles, great color and great people on this one. The challenge of capturing stills as well as motion on a project makes for a really fun, thorough shoot. Hope to post soon...

Vancouver BC/Bauer...

Recently got back from a shoot in Vancouver, BC. Really a great city, hope we end up there again soon. Shooting Ryan Kessler via Bauer we were shooting on sweeps as well as locker room sets. This is all I can share for now till next year though. A special thank you to Mindy, TJ, Corrie, Ryan, & The Skunk. We'll be back soon!...

A New Life...

Working with the International Institute of Minnesota, I recently had the chance to shoot groups of refugees arriving in Minnesota for the first time. Documenting those first moment, first smells and first sights was really interesting, especially when they are things you know so well. I had the chance to shoot in and around the airport, with the second part of the shoot soon to take place in the homes on Minnesota's newest citizens. Stay tuned for the second installment of this project...
