I recently thought "wouldn't it be cool to photograph people that come in and out of your house, just to see who is in your life right now?" So... I did. I photographed people for one week as they came over. Over for coffee, or what have you, I took a few quick shots and put this together. Working with a designer here in Minneapolis, we came up with the sky line logo and thought that it came out a success. This might be a project I would like to explore for longer than a week as time allows...

Dallas was a blast. We had a great team on board for this as we took on a project for The Richards Group an advertising agency known for their innovative & creative work over the last few decades. As the shoot took shape, our team of art directors worked on numerous angles and locations throughout the day to build a nice library of images for them. Thanks to all involved on this one...
Thanks for a great 2010! This year really produced a lot great new shoots & projects. It truly has been a pleasure to work with everyone we worked with this year. Looking forward to a fantastic 2011...
From another shoot for the International Institute... this time featuring a refugee nurses assistant class. The frame in the lower right corner is great. The gentleman had been struggling in the classroom and finally got the grade he had hoped for on his exam. I felt lucky to be there for it. Pure joy, just pure joy...
This is the first installment in a series of entries I have shot on assignment here in Minneapolis. Profiling refuge families for the International Institute, the above photos show a family from Bhutan. We spent the afternoon shooting, drinking hot chai teas and discussing our favorite Nepalese movies...
Just got back into the cities after a cool shoot up north in Two Harbors. We got a good amount of snow throughout Minnesota this week, which made for some classy, winter imagery. As we get into winter, warm cider and fires, I am reminded of why I live where I do. The beauty that Northern Minnesota has is really quite breathtaking. It was a blast getting to shoot up there as well, could not have picked a better time to go up on assignment...

Recently got to shoot the Micael Jordran of auto parts in Minneapolis. On location, I got the opportunity to shoot the CEO of Advance Auto Parts. We spent an afternoon scouting lights and locations before taking advantage of every minute of time we were allowed. The light ended up being lovely and we worked with some in store lighting to come up with as natural a look as we could.
Just got back from being on the road in Chicago last week. We had a great shoot and enjoyed the windy city, always a great place to be shooting in. We got to follow around some players from the Chicago Blackhawks as well as a juinors team from Canada. It really was an interesting shoot which produced some cool, new shots.
